Volunteer as a Parent Governor
We are looking for 2 more parent governors to help shape the future of the school.
The role of Governors is to ensure that the leadership of the school places the interest of children first, and helps maintain strong links between the school and its' community.
We have a Governing Body made up of parents, carers and members of the school community.
The GB meets approximately twice a term and Governors make visits to see school during the day depending upon their other commitments. The GB works closely with the school Leadership Team to oversee all aspects of school life, whether it’s visiting lessons to learn with the children, understanding and contributing to how we use our budget to support their learning or supporting school in our wider relationships with organisations like the Local Authority or Ofsted
If you think you would find the role of interesting please come and speak to Mr Cates or Miss Saville or perhaps contact one of our current Governors to find out more about the role. If you would like to find out even more you might also want to tour the school and/or attend a scheduled Governors meeting.
