End of Year School Reports
Schools have been directed to produce an annual report on their child for parents before the end of the summer term.
This must cover:
brief particulars of achievements in all subjects and activities forming part of the school curriculum
comments on general progress
details of how parents can arrange a discussion about the report with their child’s teacher - we have offered each child a face to face meeting with their new teacher and parents are welcome to ask questions at these meetings. If a formal meeting with your child's current class teacher is required to discuss their progress this academic year then please contact school to arrange this.
Following the cancellation of the 2019 to 2020 national curriculum assessments (SATS), it will not be possible to include the End of Year outcomes of key stage 2 tests or teacher assessments in this year’s reports. It will also not be possible to include comparative information about the attainment of pupils of the same age in the school or nationally.
We will be positing the school report to you.
The Department for Education (DfE) is removing the requirement to report pupils’ attendance data for the 2019 to 2020 academic year, in recognition of the impact of the coronavirus outbreak on attendance.
