Use this fraction help document to support you!
Today's lesson is a revision lesson of fractions, our new topic for maths. Use the lesson to remind you what fractions are, how we write them and how they can be represented. As this is a revision lesson, there is an additional worksheet with the answers to support additional problem solving and reasoning

This week we will be looking at a new book! We will be focussing on the book 'The Great Kapok Tree' which will link into our Unit of Learning on Brazil.

This week we will be learning about South America and Brazil, it will lead us onto our rainforest topic after half term. Here is a link to padlet where you can make a post to share your learning about Brazil as you go on. You can add to it every time you learn something new and interesting! In today's final lesson on Brazil, you will investigate culture in Brazil with a focus on the Rio carnival. Read through the slides to research information about the famous Rio carnival and then you can create your own costume ready for the Rio carnival. Remember to be bright, bold and colourful! You may do this in any way you like; crayons, paint, collage, use technology - whatever you like! Remember to update the padlet with any new or exciting facts you know!
